This is a priority and our Building Safety and Health and Safety teams work to keep you safe in your home.
Our teams work to ensure your homes and neighbourhoods are safe which includes:
- Regular checks to neighbourhoods, communal areas and your home
- Provision of a range of communication throughout the year on a number of safety areas
- 24/7 emergency contact arrangements

We worked in partnership with West Midlands Fire Service to undertake a fire training exercise.
We provide customers with a range of communication throughout the year to raise awareness of safety issues. Our video on fire safety in flats was sent to all customers living in high rise homes.
Sophie our Head of Tenancies and Communities with Enid from the local Tenants and Residents Association (TRA). The TRA took part in the fire training exercise so they are better prepared in the event of an emergency in a high-rise home.
We worked together with customers and city partners such as the West Midlands Fire Service to coordinate the fire training exercise. It provided invaluable feedback which helped us to better support our customers.
